I didn't know they finally finished Inuyasha (anime format). Currently watching it, though in subs; but finally, some closure. I've seen all the episodes to the series + movies (dubbed on [as]), and by God, I am not letting all that time go to waste.

Just came across this information while surfing recently. Just caught the first episode. The date and quality difference shows. They must've finally gotten the memo from the fanbase that the ending given before pissed them off. No kidding, 167 episodes and leave us hanging like that?

The Final Act is about 26 episodes long, according to what I've come across. No dubs yet.

As for Inuyasha, it's interesting and it has a pretty developed world. The major downside is that it's such a LONG anime and that it will give you every form of plot blue balls possible.

That, and for actual closure to the series, it's already been mentioned that there's an undubbed Final Act. I probably didn't lose many brain cells because it was just something to watch/put on the TV when I was staying up late when I was younger.

As for fanfiction... I'm reading quite a few EXCELLENT ones lately. Shinji and Warhammer40k, if you've not heard of it, is quite well done and the best crossover I've read (I've only read maybe five CO fics ever). There's also Kyon: Big Damn Hero for Haruhi that's well done, but not worth it if you don't know the series (or aren't introduced to tvtropes, as it's 'technically' a crossover with tvtropes). God of Death crossover of Warhammer40k and Warcraft... why is it suddenly only recently I've read COs? Have good ones only been made recently? *shrug*
There's also the Dragon Age fics by beanball which are pretty well written and have plots that definitely feel at home in the Dragon Age universe.

To this day, I can't believe that I've sat through three seasons of Inuyasha, before deciding to ditch that crap.
Oh how I cringe at the thought of it.
These days I'm much more inclined to let a show go when it turns into an unwatchable mess.(though I still got to ep.24 of TTGL)

I feel Il Palazzo's pain, I can't believe I actualy bothered watching Inuyasha on TV. It was that kind of generic anime with generic group of snowflake heroes running around with lots of opportunity for the creepy horrid fat mostly female fandom to make fanfiction and strange character pairings. Horrid characters and voice acting. Everytime I heard Kagome scream INUUYASHAAAAAA I wanted to stab her friggin throat off.

Watched episode 31 of FMA:B now, I think this show has an anti-war message I can't tell.
