I'm currently in the process of acquiring Angel Beats. It was recommended by a friend of mine, so I guess I'll check it out. Will report once I'm finished with it, which might not be that long since it's only 13 episodes.

Ah, first eps of DB when I was 7... nostalgia. Damn 2/3 of my life with anime, I feel so old ;P

Baccano! already looks promising. Darker than Black, I was going to watch that once. Must have forgotten ;P

Look here, a list of what I have seen.

You should probably watch Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai -- the sequel to the first season. Seeing as how you liked Zero no Tsukaima, you'd probably like Shakugan no Shana too. Also, you could watch a few episodes of Gantz and see if that's your thing.

I think Angel Beats! really picks up around episodes 9-10. Assuming you enjoy it, I'd recommend Kanon/CLANNAD.
It's important to note that Angel Beats! is not a "Let's fighting!" anime with copious fight scenes and typical shounen conflicts. The action is pretty sparse, really.

Haibane Renmei and His and Her Circumstances, maybe?

I know they're both traditionally "girls' anime," but on the other hand your favorite shows and mine seem to match fairly well.  Plus, a little bit of broadening of your viewership could be worthwhile.

So, I've been reading the Higurashi manga recently; I don't have much to say, but it's extremely dialogue heavy. I flipped open to a random page and counted 28 sentences. Compared to Future Diary's 9, and Gantz' 2. This isn't a problem, though it makes some scenes overwhelming.

I also question some of the translation choices -- they leave 'Obatcha', 'Higurashi', 'Zouri', and 'Oji-sama' untranslated... but they translate Rika's verbal tic 'desu' as 'Sir'. (Typical line: "If you beat Keiichi, Rena... you can take me home with you, Sir.")

Scanlations typically don't have these sorts of problems, but there's the whole piracy issue and whatnot.
