I rarely rewatch anything, but sometimes I can't help myself. I've watched FLCL 4 or 5 times. It still only half makes sense.

I've also rewatched Lain and Cowboy Bebop, but that's about it.

This is so not true for me.

I love rewatching things, but not too much. I'll probably watch a show I've finished maybe a month after I finish it, or things like that.

I think the problem is I get enjoyment from new development and not old memories and stuff.

Like Donkey Kong Country, I played that again and I stopped after level 3, too much the same.

Oh well, unless I'm with someone else whose never seen the show/film.

I always rewatch shows. It is the only way to fully appreciate it. The especially good stuff will always bring something new to the table. This applies to everything. I tend to rewatch/reread soon after I did so the first time, if I really enjoyed it a few more times after that. Then I try to ear mark several items to rewatch in a few years time. Various things have different meaning on me when I reread/rewatch them when older then when I did when I was younger.

There far to many elements that get missed the first on the first viewing/reading. It like robbing yourself of full enjoyment.

Every time I watch FLCL I get something new.

Every time I watch Tiny Toons I notice something new.

Starship troopers have been providing me with something new over the last 12 years.

Whenever I talk about good anime, DTB is always one of the first I mention.
I loved that show, and am considering buying it. Would sit nice beside Spice and Wolf and Gurren Lagann.

In regards to Mnemosyne, is this anime just built around the thought of disturbing you in every way possible?
It's worse than Higurashi in the disturbing factor by a observable margin.

Worse? Must watch.
It's funny, I don't like very depressing anime, but I'm all for it if it's super disturbing.

Do you mind intense and highly graphic murder and torture, considerable nudity, and mild rape?
It's a good show, but not for the faint of heart/watching with other people even in the house.

Also, I change my mind.

Is Mnemosyne worse than Neon Genesis Evangelion (esp. the movies) in terms of mindfuckery and violence?
