Hey, they got pretty close that time.  Although it was pretty obvious their campaign was doomed to failure when you read the chapter title... heh.

So... basically, extremely targetted zombie-type virus that makes you think everyone's working against you.  Which is being cultivated and possibly injected for some reason.  And Rika gives off anti-crazy pheromones (goddamnit, subber, pheromones, not hormones.  I even heard them say it).

I suppose Takano as villain makes sense, what with the fact that she had a tendancy to walk around whilst dead and that, unlike almost everyone else, you never see her death.  Everything's now pretty much covered, except how Satako's uncle rose from the dead after Keichii clobbered him and just what the hell Takano is trying to do.

Oh, yeah, and something's still up with Shion and Mion... whatever possessed them moved from one to the other, and Shion apparently remained calm and composed even after commiting violent acts (unlike the usual throat tearing response... incidentally, I don't suppose anyone in this series has considered cutting their nails?).

In terms of her uncle, either Keichii thought he had killed him because of the virus but didn't, or he did die but Satoko became overcome with the virus and thought he was still alive.


Nothing possessed Shion or Mion, Shion just snapped because of Satoshi's death and Mion having what she can never have.
And cutting your nails won't help, the person will keep clawing until they tear open their throat no matter how long it takes.

Baka to Test to Shokanjuu wasn't bad. It's humor was pretty similar to Seitokai no Ichizon's, sans gratuitous references to other series. The finale to Baka to Test was too cliche for my liking, but apparently there's a second season coming(?).

SHAFT's Arakawa Under the Bridge is pretty good so far. The main character is voiced by the same guy who voiced Nozomu Itoshiki from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and the art style is deliberately reminiscent of SZS. It'll be interesting to see how the series turns out. Plus the OP is surprisingly catchy.

Yeah... but his body was conspiciously absent... so it could've been the Yamainu covering his tracks, I guess.  Hmm.

As for Mion/ Shion... it was all Shion up to the point she fell to her death, right?  It seemed like her urges were kindof... different.  Satoshi and Keichii beat people to death, Rena cuts people apart, Satako pushes her friend from a bridge, but Shion sedates people, brings them back to her lair and drives nails into their knuckles.  She also didn't seem to have any throat-ripping urges, even after she was finished with her killing.  And then there's the fact that Mion seems to take over after Shion's death-by-falling...

As for the missing body, I think it was implied that his friends had dug it up and put it somewhere else a la the situation with Rena at the end of the first season. Naturally they didn't tell Keiichi about this or anything.

The problem with the anime is that they leave out a large number of details -- and also the specifics of what is a hallucination, and what isn't. When Keiichi is in the hospital, he hallucinates Shion driving nails into his hand, even though she's already dead.

Lessee... I had some Death Note spoilers, a lot of Haruhi spoilers (mainly coz I hadn't watched anime before and my friend was trying to persuade me to watch it) and some Rozen Maiden.  Completely avoided Code Geass and Higurashi (hey, it's a mystery game.  Or dating sim, I guess) spoilers.  I achieved this by not telling anyone I knew irl that I was watching.  I tend to click on Bleach and Naruto spoilers though.  I dunno why.  Probably because I just forget about them on the next day.

Y'know, something I've found odd is that the description so often pinned to the show ("Killer Lolis") seems to be innaccurate.  I mean... Rika seems to be pretty much berserk immune, and Satako generally isn't that bad with regards to flipping the fuck out.  I mean, comon, what's one little murder-through-inaction in the grand scheme of things?

I have a lot of work to do at the moment, which is tied together with a lot of stress and relaxing with an episode has become in essential in my studying.

I need something deep, sad and meaningful, something that makes you think about it, even afer you finished watching it, something that's asking the viewer philosohical question, without giving away the answer.
I know that's much to ask, but is something out there that could cover what I'm looking for?

I wouldn't call that a problem personally, I quite liked it. The ambiguity, and fact it has you questioning what is and isn't real is most certainly intentionally there to build up the creepiness of it all ^^ Besides, going back at the end and explaining every individual incident would be silly ;P

So lately I watched "Five centimetres per second". I am proud to say I started crying at the end ;_; Seriously, Makoto Shinkai is a bloomin' genius ^.^
