I played a dating game with better fight scenes than most anime's.

You've clearly never played any Wapanese Dating Games.
I did consider the "it's from Japan" angle.

But I'm pretty sure it's a mystery game... right?

While I don't like Bleach, I'm liking your art more and more Toony.

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't think Bleach is BAD... I just think it's really disappointing.

Like, really reallly disappointing. Then again, it's been quite awhile since I've last taken precious time out of my paint watching hours just to catch up on Bleach, so it might have changed, but I have no inclination to alter this habit.

To be honest when I first saw Bleach I was like whatever same thinking as Naruto.
I gave it a chance though and enjoy a lot of aspects of it, maybe it's because I can watch 10 episodes in one day without waiting...
Heh, I'm actually not watching any right now because I don't want to out-run my brother, who doesn't like subs.

I'm mastering the art of MSPaint fu.

Bleach comes close several times to being original and innovative then falls flat. 8/

I thought of a genre where it can support character dying and feel organic to setting. A melody military.

A sci-fi setting of volunteer corp of badass vets near the end of a 12 year war. The war is being fought over traditional reasons. Resource and territories.

The unit doesn't stop the war, though they play an important part.

They're probably going to be helljumpers ala ODST, maybe not. Not sure. I was understatified with ODST though.

Alright, everyone, I've probably already told you this, but watch Monster. It's awesome.

Of course it's been mentioned.

I think it's on my list.
Which doesn't mean much considering I haven't watched any anime at all in months.

I'm rather impressed with that render (sorta a couple days late on that). And on MS Paint nonetheless. Yeah, if I were to render anything, it would require hand-drawing first, and then digitally refining/enhancing where necessary (usually using any of the Adobe programs, probably Flash for more line-arty stuff, but Illustrator to be more precise), and then making it presentable.

Unfortunately, I'm not exactly good with figure drawing, despite taking 2 drawing courses in college which had plenty of lessons on them. I can probably render best provided I have a subject/pose to base off of, but more to get proportions and expressions right, otherwise, I can have an epic body for a character, and a face that looks like what my nephew or nieces would draw.

...Yeah. Fortunately, my larger scale (non-scannable) work provide better odds of making a render look right. But again, larger renders makes certain tasks hella easier, it's just more time/resource consuming both IRL or on machine.

As for more recent/relevant topic, yes, FMA: Brotherhood is awesome so far (much quicker in story progression than the 1st anime), and Monster is just getting crazy. I didn't realize there were so many episodes to it. I only expected it to be a simple 24-26 episode series... and it's still going.
