I am generally multitasking when I am watching anime. Talking writing ect. So I cant have it sub. great deal of the time, or I wouldnt know whats happening.

I watched the first 6 episodes of Planetes sub., and i set to full screen.

I then fell in love with the series but I want to kill the main character. Especially with her fallacious argument in episode... 4 I think.

Hah, practice my friend. I have learned the art of DMing a DnD game, reading the intertubes and watching subbed anime at the same time. It's entirely doable.

The best part is, i do often lose focus on the DnD game, but it's usually because i'm working on a pog for it or because the players are meandering around in circles and spouting more gibberish than normal.

I also think thanks to my dyslexia that I can't read two things at the same time. I can read one thing at a time, like multiple IM conversations. I can listen and read with good comprehension. I listen to a lot of pod cast that way. I just caught up with Non-Profits podcast not to long ago.

A streaming line of texts can fuck me over if I dont pay attentions.

Pog, and dnding. Do you gametable by chance?

Yar, i'm DMing this 3.5 game for some crazy, crazy Bay12vers twice-weekly. They're crazy guys, but the good kind of crazy. Running a DnD group with people i interact with frequently on the forums is a most pleasant change indeed.

Also, i don't think i actually read the subs that much anymore, i can't really understand moonspeak, but i've picked up enough to get the gist of what is being said under most circumstances that i only need a quick glance at the text every now and then to give myself some context.

Hmm, I might be able to have another go at DnD online now that I have a computer in my own room (previously I always got kicked off by my brother, meaning the amount of time I'd be on for was somewhat unpredictable).

Well, Rooster has a game now that's more appropriate for us Greenwich Mean Timers.

I've watched shows with subs, like at least 100 episodes of that stuff.

It's not really that effect for learning another language.  I can only remember 'Oi' when they are speaking funny.

I remember stuff if it was repeated enough for a while.

And thus I could recite the start of the Code Geass opening and some of Nagato's lines in Endless Eight in Japanese.  Not knowing what any individual word meant.
