When you think, you hear yourself, right?

No, no you do not. In order to hear something your eardrums must pick up sound waves, thinking does not give off audible sound waves.

Hmmm, if I concentrate hard enough, I swear I can hear music as if it was actually playing somewhere far off.

Technically your brain can just simulate sounds like it simulates sight with your eyes even though there is no light. (dreaming)

There's no such simulation. What you think you hear is your brain interpreting the electrical signals your eardrums send it when they vibrate. Since the brain also thinks with electrical signals, it is entirely possible for it to make shit up.

Dreams are an example of this. So are Hallucinations.

However, in such cases you are not actually hearing the sound in question. You merely think you are.

Mostly because the liquid inside the skull is of such small amount that sploshing isnt major, and the skull is rather dense, therefor dampening the sound.

If we shake your head enough, you'll pass out and probably suffer brain damage if done enough. Its colloquially known as punch drunk. A common fate for life long professional boxers.

Also, if you heard that fluid when it moved, you'd hear NOTHING else.

I actually hear stuff when I shake my head... not just my neck cracking in protest, either.  I think it's the air moving through my ears.

There is no air inside your skull, in order to hear sloshing you would need air. If you have air inside your skull then you sir, have serious issues, and are probably about to become very, very dead.

THIS THREAD HAS BEEN DE-RAILED.

WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER TO RE-RAIL IT.

Please.
