Hmm... has anyone ever made a list of Bleach episodes with all the unnecessary ones removed?  I wonder what value it would come to...

Bleach does a novel thing with filler. I rather like Bleach way to do filler, and I hope it catches on.

I dont see filler as something to get upset over really. For myself, that finding something to get upset over.

They put up big ol' signs that say "OH HEY! Sorry! This is filler! Just bear with us for the next few weeks until we actually get enough material from Kubo to continue making canon episodes, and until then we have our own little story thought up by the company retard."

Unlike other shonen animes, were there filler was extra reaction shoots or extra hits. The gut combo from the sasuke and naruto retrieval arc ending fight, is a classic example of filler combat. 

Bleach tries to expand the universe in a believable fashion, with the bount arc being the first example. It suffer from be constrained with Bleach writing quality, but other better written ones could probably do this with greater skill.

I think I may like this as one of the few things that Bleach does well is its pacing. Traditional filler would have greatly hinder the pacing.

Kinda late to the detergent party, but I am just hoping [as] will just get to continuing the dub episodes from where we left off.  But at this rate, I'll have to wait until Summer.

So far, outside of Bleach, the only other interesting things they have playing ATM is FMA:Brotherhood, FLCL, and Cowboy Bebop.

At least they should bring back Trigun and Big O while they're at it.
