I suppose I have enough time into Kagetsu Tohya to actually make some comments about it!
It's actually pretty nice. Tsukihime had a nice thing going with the setting and stuff but the majority of it was pretty well, boring, and made me want to go crazy.
Remember how I said that short story that was in Tsukihime PLUS+DISC was really cool? Well, Kagetsu Tohya is basically Tsukihime: Short Story edition. There's the main game which is already cool in its own right thanks to NANAYA and END OF THE WORLD and TIME LOOPS and THROWING HAM AT CATS. But there is also the 10 nights of dreams thing which is 10 'short' stories, which are pretty lengthy in reality. You unlock the short stories as you play the main story and I already have 3 of the 10.
So it's pretty much Fate/hollow but in the Tsukihime setting&characters. Which just by reading that sounds pretty awesome. I really like Nanaya way too much though, it might be unhealthy.
For the short stories, I've already read Dawn (the Nero one) and Nanako-chan SOS (which had a pretty depressing ending). Currently reading 'A Story for the Evening' which again is basically what I wanted in Tsukihime. Weird mystery shit and psychopathic characters.
...I just realized that so far none of the short stories have had Tohno Shiki as the protagonist. That's actually pretty cool. The PLUS+DISC short story did the same thing.
*crosses fingers for Yumizuka protag.
And I guess I have to read Foul's Errand after I finish KT too? I wouldn't even know that existed unless Mirror Moon told me.
EDIT:
Oh, and I'm about half way done with book 3 of Suzumiya Haruhi. Since I finished Fate/zero I decided I just had to start reading Haruhi so...I did. It's basically exactly what I wanted.
