Since it's a prequel, you pretty much go into F/Z knowing about the bad end.  I mean, the younger main characters of FSN are orphans for a reason.

I started watching the new HunterXHunter anime.  So far its pretty much identical to the old HunterXHunter anime.   

I'm not sure what the point is of remaking an anime to have the same story as the first one...

I "watched" a few episodes a few days ago and I just find the art worse than the first series, it just screamed "COMPUTER CG!" at me each time I opened my eyes.
Also, it may only be an impression, but did they remove all the blood from the show to get a lower rating? The first guy hisoka kills just "disappears", I don't remember that scene being that ridiculous in the original...

Also started reading "Noblesse", a webcomic/manhwa, just happened to see it in the top reads on mangafox(not really a sign of a good manga as bleach is #4 >.>) and it's quite good, a good mix of fantasy/comedy/mystery. It gets a nice tension going up and relieve it with some silly humor . The format is interesting too, it's read completely vertically on a long image you have to scroll through.

How do you read, or play these things without killing yourself? I can't stand finishing a good series or a good book because it leaves me feeling empty. But you....you juts plow through them one after another, it would kill lesser people.

Yeah that's a good comment.  At some point I kind of got pissed at myself for always being bored/boring or something (about a year and a half by now?) so I decided to just do everything and when there's nothing left to keep going never stopping.  I haven't been bored since so it's always good to give new things a go all the way through.  Otherwise I wouldn't be who I am today, seriously.  I'd just keep re-doing the old or playing the same video games over and over again.  I see my brother and parents do this and it drives me nuts now.

I finished the second season of Kaiji!

I'll say that wasn't as tense as the first season, but it's nice to see Kaiji getting something resembling a happy ending. And man, that Pachinko game lasted SO LONG!

Very satisfying, in short.

Is there going to be a third season? Kaiji still hasn't gotten his revenge against Hyodo.

Yeah I would imagine Madhouse would do it.  I mean the manga is still on-going and stuff why not have a third season.  Don't expect it for awhile though I guess.

Kaiji gets the best ratings when it airs, but no BD sales, so I dunno. Apparently there's another season of Akagi in the works, although nothings confirmed.

It's definitely a possibility a few years from now.

Haven't played any VN'd for a long time now, doesn't help that I'm the type that kinda' puts things off when I've already acquired it after just trying/testing it's opening/start (games, shows, etc.)

I reeeaaalllyy need to start and stick on Clannad and Planetarian again...and Katawa Shoujo.....and Sharin no Kuni......and...crap, where's my list. Crap, where did I back up those installers again?

I always thought it was onomatopoeia for an uneasy atmosphere.

Yeah it's like GOGOGOGOGOGO which is the onomatopoeia pressured atmosphere.  By crowd noise I meant just like generic whispering and tension.  They're the same exact thing.

The art didn't bother me(frankly it looked about the same to my untrained eyes).  I did watch that episode where hisoka turns some guys arms into rose pedals, but I assumed they just gave him weird new powers.  I'll keep an eye open to see if they toned down the violence, not that the original was all that gory.
