So since I'm reading spinoff manga and finished with NGE, I moved onto Code Geass: Nightmare of Nunally. It does some interesting things and reinvents the setting without deviating too far from the plotline of CG (As in, major events still happen, though they might be reinvented). Geass gets thrown around a bit more, so there are a lot of awesome powers. It doesn't explain things very well, though, and introduces some vague new terms.

I don't think it's as sure as what Nodoka wants for the future...  She even read her own mind to figure it out!

I had no idea that the plot would turn out like this. The price that Negi had to pay has a lot of drawbacks for him. I think the burden of immortality will absolutely crush him, and it brings to mind a lot of things (I recall the Swordsman fanfic universe with Rurouni Kenshin and Highlander, where Kenshin's gentle soul became gradually overcome with such a burden).

Then again, the only things that can be shipped are NegixAyaka (until Ayaka passes away, or somehow forces others to make her a vampire) and NegixEvangeline... though I suppose you could ship NegixChachamaru, since she's also immortal. Also, doesn't Negi need to feed now?

He's described as having incomplete immortality, very much like that of a vampire, but I don't think he actually is one. He may well be some unique new creature now; I don't think anyone's gained immortality in quite the way he has, so there's really no classification of it. And they don't know if he'll still grow old or not, just that he'll regenerate from most anything thrown at him.

Also, you can still ship whatever pairing you like, regardless of these new revelations. Don't underestimate the will of a shipper. Plus, immortality blues can make for a good story, if handled right.

Finished Peach Girl.

Another Ehh but in a "they probably couldn't have ended it better anyhow" ending.

The show is odd in that is in some way actually got worse as it went on. The best the show seemed to be was the very first episode.

When I originally heard its premise it sounded a LOT better then it actually was (Afterall it is about a girl who because of her hobbies looks like a slut and how she handles herself and her love life because of it. Unfortunately as I found out her appearance actually doesn't play a part in it at all)... and frankly if episodes 1-6 were the entire series it would have been fine.

Unfortunately I watched the first 6 episodes, which were pretty good, back when I was drawn entirely by its premise which was enough to make me invested.

Its major flaw though is that it has too many climaxes. By the time the actual ending happens you probably don't care anymore. Making it a "soul draining" anime.

I didn't watch it to watch a bad anime... I honestly thought it could be a very good teen drama.

Certainly I can't be the only one here who has once been drawn in by a shows premise (or rather the flavor text describing the show)?

Don't underestimate the will of a shipper.

I can't possibly do that, since I'm aware of so many ships that make absolutely no logical sense in so many different series. When confronted about it, they vomit foam from their mouths and pounce with intent to dismember, or the verbal/textual equivalent anyway. I was just saying that, due to the new developments, those are the more logical ones (or at least the ones that won't end as tragedies).

I'll probably finish Fate/zero in a few days even if I don't read much.  I'm almost done and its been awesome.  Lalalalalaie!
