Suigin Tou has a horrible habit of getting killed. I so wish they would finish this anime, but the way they ended it both leaves it open and closes it in a bitter-sweet way.

Yeah, although it would still be nice to see it properly finished/ wrapped up.  Then again, after a 3 year gap, few series ever continue.

Also had a look at the tvtropes page.  Hmm, who knew that Elegant Gothic Lolita was a trope?

Haruhi is deliberately told in a nonlinear fashion, in fact you wouldn't want to watch it in a linear fashion as that would in fact contain spoilers; several episodes set later in the timeline use events that happened earlier in the timeline that the characters know about but the viewers do not (because they havn't seen those events yet) as key plot points and soforth.

Additionally, the ending in the broadcast\book order is actually right near the start of the chronological order.

Basically, Haruhi is confusing. Just watch it.

Except that Suigintou still hates Shinku, Souseiseki and Hina Ichigo are still dead, the Alice game still isn't finished, and Rozen has given Shinku the mission to find a way to bring back the two dead girls so that the Alice game can be completed.

Yeah, pretty much.  And the whole "Suigintou's Medium" plot thread hasn't been wrapped up yet, in addition to the fact that we know nothing about Kirakishou, who may or may not be a foe.  So... basically the same amount of cliffhanger-ness that you get with most series.

As for Haruhi, I discovered during reading the light novels that you can't even trust the order of the books.  I mean, The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya (baseball episode), in spite of being a story in the third book, was actually released on its own before The Melancholy was (which is why the characters all get over long introductions in it).

I watched in English dub order, which is basically chronological with Episode 00 put at the start to confuse you.  It made sense, but it meant that the last episode becomes a total anti-climax, with the real climax in the middle of the series.

Yup! Haruhi is a chronological nightmare. It's best to just enjoy it as it comes.

I don't recall him saying that those 2 could be brought back. And the alice game is fininshed. it was designed so when they get each others hearts they can become the perfect girl. But he said they don't need to fight to become Alice. So why would they continue to fight even though they didnt want to in the first place?

Eh, at least the movie will be in chronological order... probably?  I wouldn't put it past them to shuffle the scenes up.  Then again, since I've read the book, at least I should know what's going on for once.

He said she could become Alice without fighting, but not how.  Also, Suigintou will probably try to kill Shinku whether or not it's necessary due to personal revenge.
