I'm sure when my VN adventure starts delving into Key territory I'll need to a buy a ton of tissue boxes.

So far Type-Moon hasn't really made me cry, maybe once or twice when the mood is right.  07th Expansion has made me tear up a lot though.  ;_;

We'll see.  Same goes for KID.

Out of all of Key's work, Clannad was considered their best. Everything was perfect: the anime, Manga, Movie (maybe), and the Visual Novel. All for the very meaning of the title.

The movie changed a lot of shit from the VN, while the anime was pretty much a perfect adaptation. I found the anime much better than the VN, actually. I still cried a fucking ocean with all three, though.

I don't particularly enjoy reading VNs, and hence I'm one of those people who have picked up Fate/Zero without having played Fate/Stay Night or read the FZ light novels. I saw the anime for F/SN, but of course that anime wasn't regarded very highly by those who played the VNs.

This season, I'm following:

Fate/Zero
Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon
Chihayafuru
Mirai Nikki
Ben-to

I tried out Tamayura, C3, and Shana 3 but don't feel strongly enough about them to keep going. I'm pretty sure I'll end up dropping some of the ones I'm following because of lack of time--recently my schedule's been study-work-eat-sleep-anime. I've pretty much stopped playing games in order to follow this season's anime. Haha.

Fate/Zero's music is brilliant. Gotta love Yuki Kajiura. I still haven't gotten over Madoka.

It isn't always easy to translate a visual novel into an anime.

Sometimes complaints are about the anime being bad in general but those are rare. Usually people complain that the anime and the source differ, which I am fine with so long as it can hold up on its own.

Yeah Umineko and F/sn probably don't have the best adaptions from what I've watched afterwards.  Higurashi's was alright but I didn't bother finishing the anime adaption because I lost interest.  I already knew what was going to happen anyway I just wanted to see what the adaption would feel like.  :P

The Higurashi manga adaptions seem to do a lot of cool stuff though so I'll need to read the third arc at some point...

Really enjoying the Dragonball manga. Was mildly sad when Goku developed legs, though. :P

Man the UBW movie was like a 1 hour 45 minute Xin episode only with nice animation quality.  If you don't get the comparison, basically EVERYONE IS FIGHTING EVERYONE ELSE AND THEY'RE INDISTINGUISHABLE and maybe you'll understand this bit NO WAIT THEY'RE FIGHTING AGAIN AND NOW THIS GUY'S DEAD AND THAT GUY'S DEAD NO WAIT HE'S ALIVE
