Hey guys, I need the use of your collective knowledge and brainpower to solve a quandary for my friend. He's been trying to show me this anime and PSP game he knows of, but simply cannot find it or remember it's name anywhere on the internet, so I want you guys to help me out here cause it's driving him nuts.

Supposedly, it's about a guy that has a cell phone, fridge, and other random objects that transform into girls, or something. His description is really vague, so that's all I really have to work with. If anyone can steer me in a direction that leads me to the correct name, I'd really appreciate.

Well, I finished episode 2 of Umineko and let me tell you.  That was 100x better than episode 1, of Umineko.  Also, I'm talking about the virtual novel, not the anime.  Don't get confused.

It was also a lot more sad and scary.  Especially that ending...

Dunno about the Hellsing OVA.
The progress was a bit slow and with Alucard being gone, I simply switched to the Manga.
The ending was pretty epic.

The only thing I can think that's like that is Akikan! or Akkikan! or something like that. The first chapter (Only briefly read the manga) has a soda can turn into a girl. I think I heard that the trend continues with soda cans and bottles, though, so I don't think it's the one.

Anyways, would anyone recommend any military-style animes that are serious?

Fantasy or Sci-fi, whatever, as long as it's serious and of decent quality.

I JUST remembered seeing an AMV of Valkyria Chronicles. The AMV had a lot of battle scenes, so I think the anime would be like that.

Also, I'm on chap 17 of Saikano. Definitely not reading it because it's a 'military' manga. The only sense of that I'm getting is the intermitten scenes of "Zomg, stuff is happening." and then Chise disappears for a bit.
That said, I still really want to read it, but more because I'm a hopeless romantic than anything else.
