The best question would be "What the hell are Nippon and Japan, when we all know that it's Nihon?"
Hey, inversion looked more effective >.>

Apparently not enough of a twist to create a resolution within 200 episodes...?

Water 7 arc started like episode 220ish.  It's only had about 20 episodes to start up the twist.

Not COMPLETELY anime related, but what the hey:

In the videogame "Tenchu: Z", it's possible to do a very cool glitch. If you manage to simultaneously stealth-kill someone and enter a completely unrelated animation at the same time, it's possible to Fist of the North Star people.

Example: The first time I did it was by accident, where I leaped at someone to do a stealthkill, but I did the proper button press while my character grabbed onto a ledge. I jumped down and rolled away, but the guy I was targetting was looking straight at me, trapped in place, his arms held in the air as if in agony, where then his chest explodes in a shower of blood as I stand like five feet away watching.

It was intensely awesome, and I'm ALWAYS sure that, whenever I manage to do it by accident (as it's too difficult and impractical to do on purpose) to say "You're already dead" as the character dies.

I'm saddened that there aren't more games that let me do that, and it's even sadder that Tenchu: Z is actually a really bad game, except for that one aspect. I should really fly in-depth on the thing, but not here.

In related news: Fist of the Blue Sky is VERY good, and I recommend it to anyone that may want to watch a badass anime that's full of culture and cool dialogue.

What do you mean? I don't remember anything like that from the 10 or so missions I played.

ALL enemies die if they fall into water

Even bosses... even the final boss

Yeah, I noticed that in the tutorial, but there didn't seem to be alot of places where you could throw enemies into bodies of water, so I never really thought about it.

Long story short, I've barely watched any anime in my life, I have the next day with nothing to do, and I'd like an anime series to watch, preferably online and free. Having not watched much anime, I don't really know where to start, but would prefer something sci-fi. And by sci-fi I mean good plots, not sci-fi channel originals. Suggestions?

Ghost in the Shell.
Start with 2.0, then Innocence, then Stand Alone Complex and SAC: 2nd Gig.

Voices of a Distant Star is about the lightspeed barrier on communication. It's not really a series, just one 30 minute short, but it's really good. It was all drawn by one guy and has lots of scenery porn.

Just finished Voices of a Distant Star, it was indeed quite good. Now for some sleep before tomorrow's Ghost in the Shell marathon. Thanks for the suggestions! :D
