See, that's because I was responding to Neoniveks point.

That doesn't change anything.

Just because he found an anime, which was wrongly tagged , doesn't change the fact, there are a lot of interesting references in my example.

And "Viewers are Geniuses" is only a figure of speech anyway.
It's not like anyone is taking that seriously.

Is Yukikaze good? I'm looking for a short military series for after FMA.

You could try Pumpkin Scissors.  I wasn't crazy about it, but it was kind of neat.

I started watching that one on Hulu a while back. They only had the dub, and the voice acting was...interesting. I couldn't decide if I liked it or not. Didn't really care for spoiled noblewoman crusader for justice character. Even though she was trying. But the big dude was pretty dang awesome.

Well I continued with the Pastry chef anime...

Apperantly one of the characters was evil the entire time. Though I bet the character is faking, the anime is just that bad.

Also Hitman Reborn is in full "Pull stuff out of our butt" mode. Honestly want to see an anime that genuinly feels like they are just making things up as they go along this is the one (but for the love of all things good... don't actually watch it.)

I mean... they JUST had another freeken power up sequence...

The end, it's like a pretty noticeable scene.

Also, orange man is my favorite character.

Yeah, but there's been at least a dozen major Geass bombshells.  I kindof lost track.

Monster ended for me a couple days ago. I wonder what Syfy will put in it's place now that it's finally over.

Saw the first episode of Axis Powers Hetalia.

What.

The weirdest thing about the very first episode is some of the characterisation of some of the countries is dropped. Actually just one character in particular but I guess that is the point of the joke.

Well, I watched Black Lagoon. I've almost finished it.

I tried watching from the Second Barrage in english, but the dubbing pissed me off. Especially when they went to Japan in the Second Barrage.
At least the Japanese had the good grace to show that Revy and Balalaika speak english.

In the english dub, All japanese speak English! Yay, isn't that so exciting!
Except it ruins a fair bit of entertainment, and some of the plot line.
I hate Anime that screw with the plot so that english speakers don't have to hear ten seconds of their oh-so-hated nihongo.
I've refused to watch Beck in english, for fear of what all of the dubbers might have done to all of the bi-lingual characters. Again, Major plot points rely on the main character not being able to speak english.

Gah. Gah I say.

To be honest, I've seen a few dubs (even some bad ones) where I sat there and just thought to myself "You know what, you REALLY should have changed that"

For example in Full Moon Dr. Wakaoiji (or however you spell it) sounds decent in Japanese... but in English my goodness.

Also just to state, in the case with more then one language being involved it isn't all equal. English speakers tend to only speak english and know only a few phrases of other languages.
