Yeah, I've been on holiday for a while.  Scout camp and a stay in Ireland.  Good to be back and with a proper bed at last :P.

The 2nd season of the higurashi anime was sorta disappointing. Still completely enjoyable, but it loses that special oh what the hell is happening, fuck feeling the first season had, because it starts to explain things, and the big bad turns out to be a very disappointing one.

When the focus of your is mindfuck, if you start explaining things too much, it loses its charm.

I sort of want to watch pet shop of horrors now.

I think Atonement was part of Higurashi Kai but got put into the first season (so you get an answer, but an answer mixed in with a bunch of stuff that isn't true).  That was pretty good (incidentally, you're meant to be able to solve the whole thing after the "time wasting" one... not sure if anyone did, though).

I'm quite liking Umineko Chiru though because... well, it's fun watching Erika's attempts to break the game.

What would be the highest quality Death Note sub? My collection is from really shitty speedsubs because they're all that were available back when the show was airing.
