I watched the first season of Clannad recently. Loved it. I couldn't manage to get into the second season, though...they start off with one of those really stupid sit-com gimmicks that you just know is going to go badly, and the writing for the characters seems different. Less likeable.

If my sources are to be believed, the guy that did Angel Beats is also the guy that did Clannad. It might be in my interest to check it out

Hm. Well, I might give it another shot. I'm mostly just disappointed by the staggering levels of stupid that the main character was displaying in going along with the wacky hijinks. He seemed to know better in the first season.

I tend to rewatch openings I like.
Did that with that opening and this one a lot.

I watch good openings ALL the time. And if watching online where they cut it out, I'll open the opening on youtube.

It's what I hated alot about Adult Swim. They'd cut out both the opening song and the ending song to EVERY damn show they had.

Goddamn it! Big O's ending song is a musical masterpiece! HOW DARE YOU IGNORE IT ADULT SWIM!

I noticed two things in Adult Swims broadcast of FMA:B.

1.  The opening is cut to be like half as long, I didn't pay attention to the ending.
2.  The little commercial break thing, "FULL METAL ALCHEMIST" is also cut.
3.  There is no preview of the next episode at the end.

My best guess is that there is no time to show this because America probably has more advertisement, that's why there is only one commercial break thing when it would usually be two or three times in America!

I think I finally found that old Cooking anime I saw once.

It COULD be Cooking Master Boy (It also seems to be Chinese instead of Japanese)

Mind you I don't know if that anime is any good. I just wanted to find it again. Unfortunately there is a bunch of stuff I wish I could find again: That Monkey King movie that came out relatively recently and that Crane movie where they kill the final villain by exploding his head with a flute.
