I've seen some animes where a character had a large variety of clothes (as well as some repeats)

Yeah, but usually they at least have the class to make the everyday wear a jacket, which is reasonable. The girl in NHK has a shirt though... Apparently the temperature hasn't changed enough to merit short sleeves or a jacket in months...

That's exactly what I'm doing, you see my brother doesn't have any interests for subs so I just watch the dubs with him (I've compared the sub and dub and they stay together very nicely, thanks Funimation!) so I don't leave him behind which would be kinda jerky.

I really dislike the term "Crowning moment of awsome" now...

It was alright when something had ONE of those... but now it is being flipped around so much it no longer means anything.

Everyone seems to have 2000 flippin crowns now adays.

True @ the crowns thing, but there are still certain crowns that everyone can agree on...

Like the finale of Gurren Lagann. Really, the entire series could be the Crowning Moment of Awesome for all of anime, ever, but the finale is specifically the crowning moment for the anime (As it should be).

I am surprised by this statement.

Who in the world is telling you not to be happy? It certainly wasn't me who only expressed dislike of the term you used and not the meaning behind you using it.

Well FMA is like that, almost every new episode (especially the last ones) seems to top the last ones in awesomness and badasserry
