I think it has been "Passed down the Armstrong family for generations!!!!" or something like that.

The GITS soundtrack is very nice. Anyone know music that sounds similar?

Hey everyone, I've had the good fortune of being loaned "Speed Grapher" by a friend, and after watching it to completion, I have to say that it's quite good.

I mean, I wouldn't watch it with my family around, but still quite good.

I'm currently watching a french anime (can there be such a thing?) called Wakfu. It smacks of being the kind of children's program that'd air on a Saturday morning, but it's AMAZINGLY good.

I will dive into an elaborate explanation and review of the show when I'm done with it.

Oh, wow. I was thinking of the line "Combustion of manly souls" and imagined that it required more than one manly soul.

 Edit: Dammit, I didn't see the Wakfu bit. Yeah, my sister is really excited about it. We only saw like a teaser episode in English, and are searching for English episodes online. Amazingly good for a flash animation. Dunno about the plot, but seeing as it is based around an MMO I'm feeling like it's gonna suck in that aspect.

 Oh man, FMA Brotherhood episode 18. Wow. There is a feeling I have not felt for a while. Of being in the gutter where several characters suck and the plot is just one depressing mess and then BAM! Everything was good all along!

I watched some Wakfu, in english subs.

There was this long-as-fuck collection of threads dedicated to getting fansubs up. It was an OK show, but I got kinda bored. Awesome art though.

(I used to play Dofus as well. I sucked, though. :<)

Also, I'm doing a rewatch of FMA:B.

Does anyone here watch Legend of Koizumi, one of the more awesome animes, and with short episodes it's perfect for filling up some spare time, plus epciness over 9000!!

I just watched 5 Centimeters Per Second -- it's great. Rather short too, clocking in at 1 hour. The animation and the art (especially the backgrounds!) are beautiful. While watching it, I felt the story was kind of okay, but after thinking about it, it's actually a good deal deeper than I thought. The resolution felt somewhat lacking until I really considered why.

I'd have to recommend it to anyone, so long as you aren't looking for flashy action scenes or whatever. The pace is rather slow at times, but there's reason behind every shot.
