Centaur no Nayami is one of those "vaguely embarrassed to tell people I love it" series but it's getting a show now apparently.

Made in Abyss has a really pretty background style so I'll end up watching it to see what's up, looks kinda like a modern jrpg cutscene so that's cool.

Every day I hate that Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai show more and more for triggering my "IMPORTANT INFO FOCUS NOW" reflex only to find that no, it is not in fact the promised continuation of a great show...

I was really enjoying Boku Girl until some of these damn side characters got introduced.

- I despise Yamada. Everything about him gets on my nerves and even the main characters dislike him. He's unlikable, pushy, and makes dumb faces.
- Mizuki's dad is all pedo over his own son? What the fuck? So now a character that was formerly intimidating, powerful, and mysterious has been reduced to the same 2-cent creepo character as Yamada and Ide, even imitating their wacky mannerisms, for the sake of a joke.
- I actually really like Mei so hey, hey what's the big idea?! Did we just forget about her crying and confessing her love for Mizuki? I thought that was a really good moment for them, yet it didn't come up at all in the sleepover chapters! On second thought though this means Mei can actually fucking get over shit when she's rejected, so that puts her emotional intelligence far above all the other side characters so far.

Pretty happy with the way Vinland Saga is going so far. It seems like almost every chapter there's always some interesting character drama going on.

Wow Canute with the heel-face turn! But wait, he doesn't even need a bit of a warming up period? But he was so shy and useless before? I can understand Ragnar's death motivating a change in him but why is he suddenly so politically competent? It would have been more fitting if this change was worked up to, with Askeladd puppetting him in the meantime as he slowly gains confidence and learns to think like him.

Honestly I get way more hype over Boku Girl because I'm a sucker for love drama bullshit, but yeah I'm really looking forward to making more progress in Vinland Saga.

Well, the author of Koe no Katachi also has an ongoing series called To You, The Immortal which is a weird mindfuck rollercoaster from the first few pages but has been developing nicely into promisingly fleshed out setting with a bit of love drama bullshit.

I suppose you could describe Vinland Saga as "the romance between a boy and his knives" at least through the first half or so.

Palmer Luckey is the founder of Oculus VR and designer of Oculus Rift. You know, it’s that VR headset thing that people compared to Sword Art Online‘s Nervgear.

Luckey, who sold Oculus VR to Facebook for $3 billion, is also a bit of an anime fan and got the community a little excited when he tweeted Re:Zero‘s creator to see if there was a way he could fund an anime adaptation of the Re:Zero Rem IF side-stories.

And Luckey could totally fund the adaptation, since according to Forbes, he is worth $730 million.

The chapters are a “what if” story that centers around Subaru and Rem running away and starting a family. In it, Rem grows out her hair and pretends to Emilia because deception is Rem’s only chance (probably).

This isn’t the first time Luckey has talked about anime. He’s been known to throw praise at Sword Art Online and has credited the series for bringing the possibilities of VR to a wider audience.

Besides Sword Art Online, Luckey told Upload VR  that he is a fan of Code Geass, Death Note, Kill la Kill, and Log Horizon.

Actually, it might be a good idea to get guys like this into shows like Spice and Wolf which really need more seasons. As we get younger billionaires coming along I think it's possible that they start just bankrolling more shows.
