You have to love it when the protagonists say
"They made vaporware out of him!"

Goddammit Izzy, why did the translators have to be less intelligent than you?

Also, watching my first Subbed anime, Fairy Tail.
I read the first chapter of the Manga, it's pretty good. :D

EDIT: One of the main characters summons told the main character not to call her for a while because she is going on a trip with her boyfriend. Awesome.

Oh right Aquarius? Well for one the summons contract their days or something with their summoner though I think she just hates Lucy, and at the same time I can see so many useful applications for that particular summon the events in the most recent few episodes not withstanding.

What episode is fairy tail up to now? I started watching it when it came out, but got bored of waiting each week for a new episode.

28.
And yeah, I knew about the contracting days.. you can only use the summon (once?) a week, on the day you contract when you first summon them.

Fairy tale is up to 29 actually and generally release sunday/monday I think. I'm pretty sure summoners can use the summons more than once a week. When Lucy actually contracted one in the show (well an official contract) and she was asking a series of questions about when it was available.

Yeah.

She's been using the clock every single episode almost to hide. :D

I read the second book of that manga. Seemed alright. How well does it progress?

Quite well, actually.  I found some parts of it quite moving, and the characters were generally appealing.  Mostly, the humor-drama balance seemed much more even to me, so that drama didn't end up spoiled so frequently by random gags.

Admittedly, I haven't read it since early high school.  Hindsight wears rose-colored glasses.
