Yeah, the XBAWXHUEG amount of episodes is a major turn off for me, especially with Naruto/One Piece/Bleach. I tried watching bleach but gave up. :S

Spoiler: Spoilered (click to show/hide)
That doesn't sound too weird. Except for the typhoon trapping on an island for long enough for people to die.

But...Bleach is awesome. Don't give up!

It Got Worse.

Also it doesn't fucking finish. The last episode ends the storyline unfinished, with one last puzzle to solve.

Neruz, you have to solve it!  ;D

Actually, I hate endings like that too.

I TOLD YOU TO FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF.

Anyways, the first episode of Bakugan was horrible. It could be an awesome anime if they started from the beginning. I went to two sites to make sure it was actually the first episode. All you learn about the orgins of the cards/bakudice things is a short introduction clip before each episode.

I am watchin' One Piece.

From the beginning? Where are you at?

Bear in mind, it starts pretty good, and increases in awesome all the way to the current arc, which is RAWFULGRASM SO AWESOME. You just have to not think about how many hours you've spent watching. And skip (most of) the filler arcs.

Dude, you don't even know.
There is some strange stuff going on in that show.

Negative = Bad

It's A negative, because of my short attention span.
Most animes have at least negative thing, but that doesn't stop them from being good.

Watched One Piece on TV...when it first came out?

Uh oh.
When it first came out over here in Canada, aye.
The wonders of 4Kids.

Does anyone know if Umineko no Naku Koro ni has a dub? I don't like subs that much...

Not yet, but it should later.
They made one for Higurashi afterall.

About episode 10. I don't really mind filler though...or how much I watch. I watch like hours every other night.

Also, someone earlier posted a youtube video of people with axes from some anime...anyone know it off the top of their head? otherwise I can search back and find it...

One Piece filler is really interesting; some of it is great and merges so seamlessly with the story that i never even realised it was filler. The crew go to a little island before they head to the Grand Line and learn a bit about Gold Roger, turns out that is filler, wasn't in the original Manga, i did a massive double-take when i found out.

Some of the filler is usual Anime filler; trying to be part of the story but failing miserably. But recently the filler has mostly been random segues from nowhere into alternate universes or the Omake's from the manga, which i prefer because they don't try and pretend the filler is legit, they're just like "Heyy, we caught up to the Manga again, so here's something silly to watch for a few weeks while we wait for more story."

Which one?
I looked back a bit and didn't see anything.

Yeah, I included the "(most of)" because a small selection of the filler was actually enjoyable. Like the second Foxy bit. Foxy is cool. I'm not a fan of the alternate reality fillers, but at least they are easy to identify and skip.

I think I remember the G8 bit being pretty high quality too. Much better than, for instance, the evil icedancers.

Oh god the icedancers.

For me, that arc was so bad it's good. It's just so horribly, horribly bad and rediculous that i thougherly enjoyed watching it and laughing at how bad it was.

The worst filler for me has to be that rediculous Dragon arc, that one just made no sense at all.

Hrm...can't find it.
I know the first episode began with people in swimsuits. That is all I watched.
