I actually like Crunchyroll. Mostly because it streams nicely on my crappy internet. Admittedly Animelab is better but I don't like their UI.

I also prefer streaming to downloading things because my hard drive is perpetually full and I can't be arsed making room for a bajillion of gigabytes of animus that I'll probably only watch once then forget about.

Of course, you need that space for smug anime faces anyway.

Ok the Sumo Anime is hitting the "Everyone Loves Raymond" territory of people overreacting even when it doesn't call for it.

"Hey if the Yokozuna got a parade for winning the championship I should too"
Reaction: "AAAHHH!!!" (exaggeration)

I dunno... Maybe throw him an appreciation party? Sounds reasonable for a championship of any level.

Tip: Characters don't look American in anime... Americans have a very particular look... Big nosed for example.

No, that's actually normal. If one person tends to annoy people over and over again, then they are going to react strongly to the merest hint of being annoying from that person. 80% of the reaction is due to who is saying it, not what he is saying.

Watching Hanasaku Iroha. (for which my selection process was literally just "nano.ripe did the soundtrack". I have no standards).
It's a fun slice of life so far. Nothing groundbreaking, but definitely worth watching.

Thank goodness this is a comedy and the fact that the start is very trite is part of the appeal. WHEW!
