Bloody hell, there's been two dogs now that have been brutally murdered by Stands. Granted, one was a dream dog in a dream at episode 19, but still. Jesus Christ how horrifying. Did the mangaka for Jojo have a thing against dogs or something when he was making Stardust Crusaders?

I don't think I've watched anything in anime that have made me feel quite as repulsed. Those poor innocent doggies. ;^;

I mean goodness I am not seeing the appeal of her character at the moment... even ignoring that she is snobby she is kind of a completely heartless and uncaring person who crushes the hopes and dreams of others if it is convenient for her... Nor does she give friends or family any slack if they as much as disappoint her.

It is all in the framing. I can go in detail but suffice it to say the show goes out of its way to kind of paint her as the romantic "He will get together with her at the end" interest.

Or rather she is pretty much a FRI.

But honestly they will really have to try hard for it to satisfy me given how outright villainous she is. They will probably pull some BS like the second she stops being snobby her personality suddenly gets warped into a 180 version of itself that is actually stuck up but still kind.

... dunno how far Neo is into it, but now that I know that food wars is Shokugeki no Soma (food porn all day erry day, get embraced by the duck you overendowed cow), I can say there's more going on with blondie than is immediately obvious. She's definitely tsundere, and not as heartless and uncaring as her immediate presentation would have you believe. Plus there's reasons behind her being (more than a bit of) a jackass, iirc.

Also, if there's an anime and you're not reading the manga, drop the anime like it's hot and go read the manga.

Yeah, pretty much. Some are pretty damn amazing, too -- that trio in the earlier bits was great. It slows down a little, iirc, but it doesn't exactly stop. Best thing I can say about it is that it's pretty evenhanded as to what sort of cake it offers! I can always appreciate that, even if I fairly strongly lean towards cheese.

E: Though for what it's worth, neo, unless the anime changes things and/or my memory's shot, there's not really a "redemption arc" for mamzel love interest. More of a gradual reveal/character growth thing.
