Man, as a person who hasn't seen the Unlimited Blade Works route before of F/SN, it really seems like we're moving into the endgame, but we've still got at least 4 more episodes (one of which will probably be at least partly an aftermath one) and as many bad guys as we have episodes. This looks to be an exciting, awesome battle-filled ending.
NO SPOILERS. DO NOT EVEN MENTION A BIG BAD IF THERE IS ONE.

So....why do you guys watch harem anime so much? I mean, it's all terrible. Always. Why watch it? Is it purely so you can complain about it here or something?

I don't go out of my way to watch Harem Anime.

Harem feels more like an ELEMENT of an anime then its own genre (to the point where I wonder why people call it a genre).

It is more that I watch this anime that seems perfectly good or funny... until the Harem elements start kicking in full force.

Besides you act like Harem is rare...

May I add that BLEACH is a freeken Harem Anime (Yes who will get in Ichigo's pants is a genuine plot point)...

Terrible is subjective, to a fair extent, and shows multifaceted. Personally, I'm still mildly amused by harem antics despite having watched anime and copiously perused fanfiction for the better part of two decades. It's not really a necessary malus t'me.

And there's a few things I don't mind watching/reading regardless of the harem aspect (Arifureta would probably be the most recent I can bother to remember). Even when it is a malus, that doesn't mean the show's a net loss.

Different strokes for different folks, and all that jazz.  I'd call it a guilty pleasure, but there stopped being any guilt involved a long time ago so :V

And it could be worse. It could be reality TV.

I wouldn't dare (at least without a spoiler tag). (Though to be fair the idea of a "bad guy" has always been kinda flexible in all of the F/S series, to the point where lots of times it just comes down to "are they a main character or not?" :P).

There is a lot of crossover between the "funny comedy" genre and the "harem" genre, so if you are a light comedy guy you end up watching a fair bit of it (and was why I was surprised when the Devil is a Part-timer didn't really have any serious harem antics going on in the part I had seen), and yeah, just because a series has a few harem antics doesn't mean a show is automatically terrible. As TVTropes is want to tell us, tropes are tools, and just because a trope seems to occur more often in what some people consider bad doesn't mean that it itself is bad or always leads to badness (unless for some reason you specifically dislike a trope, regardless of how good everything about it is played out, which would be quite a strange IMO :P).

That has never been a plot point. The only two "competitors" (if you can even call them that) are Rukia and Orihime. Rukia is a professional and an immortal so that's automatically out of the question. The most we see romantically between them is Rukia getting flustered when it was assumed by one person that she liked Ichigo, which IMO is a normal reaction even when there's no romantic attraction.
As for Orihime, it did seem like it was going that way (at such a slow pace that I'm still not sure it was going anywhere) but considering there were no such romantic overtones of any kind in the Fullbringer arc, it seems like Tite Kubo's decided against it. Then there's the Word of God that Bleach is a No Hugging, No Kissing anime.
IF THIS CHANGES DO NOT EVEN PUT IT IN SPOILER TAGS BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT IT CHANGES. JUST DON'T MENTION IT.

Actually, that's a pretty good point. I still don't like harem shows, though. Your guess that I dislike the trope is correct. You can have funny comedy without harem. Harem is only good for otaku wish-fulfillment.

All fanfics are heresy, each and every one, especially the shipping ones. Those are by far the worst.

Legitimate competition doesn't change anything.

Let me replace "competitors" with "people who seemed even remotely interested in him in a romantic way", then, because that's what I meant.

Doesn't matter... They just have to be women who sort of hover around him.

Sakurai Kiss only had two people remotely interested in her and it counts.

Andres, if Tite decides to go for allowing a romance to blossom in Bleach, I will put up a post in bright goddamn green 12 point font explaining in soul crushing detail exactly what happens just for you.

Me being an asshole aside, Rukia is not romantically interested in Ichigo, she only cares because he reminds her of Kaien (who is related to Ichigo, though I haven't seen exactly where his branch of the family is attached yet.)  Orihime is romantically interested, but Ichigo does not reciprocate those feelings, at all.  The only female character we've seen Ichigo have a strong reaction to at all is Nel Tu Odershvank, and that reaction is THE strongest emotional response he's had to any character who is not one of his sisters (he gives no fucks about his father, and there is definitely no siscon here.)

Look the key to whether or not Bleach is a Harem is simple.

Do the female characters seem to revolve around him, are their interests and his somehow linked, and does he solve their problems or inspire them? AND are there at least more then 3 women who this applies to?

Do the female characters seem to revolve around him?
Some of them do, as do the males, though just like the males in that they don't do so in a romantic way. Some of the other females revolve around other people, though, like Chizuru and Tatsuki who revolve around Orihime.

Are their interests and his somehow linked?
Yes. Considering this is a requirement for friendship (or literally any other kind of relationship), though, this might not be a very good question as part of the 'is this a harem' test.

Does he solve their problems or inspire them?
Most definitely, but since he's actually solving everyone's problems this might not really be fair.

Are there at least more then 3 women who this applies to?
No. Only Rukia and Orihime revolve around him and even that's debatable. It was Rukia's job to revolve around him and stopped when it wasn't. As for Orihime, we're told by her in the Fullbringer arc that she'd continued to do stuff (fight Hollows and train) in-between the timeskip.

Two questions
1.i know what "light" comedy animes are so then logically there should be "heavy" comedy animes as well. If so could i maybe be refered to some good ones
2.could anyone suggest any anime like wolf children?
(ops forgot to post the second question)

Logic != the way society's naming practices work. :P

In this case "light" was referring to a combination of it's lack of dwelling on serious matters, and it's ability to have fun without particularly making you think. As such it's opposite, then, wouldn't be "heavy" comedy but rather would be a form of a "heavy" drama-like show (and thus would be something more like 5 Centimeters Per Second, or Grave of the Fireflies).
