GOODNESS do characters in Ippo have an amazing ability to walk around normally with shattered ribs.
I swear you've said this like four times by now.

Because it happened four times... each time more ridiculous then the last. (Actually three times, but I didn't talk about it the 1st time because the guy actually was carried out in a stretcher that time)

I have mentioned the number of times the show had injuries the characters walked away from, deadly injuries that they avoid the doctor for, or where the show gets wrong the treatment of said injuries.

So I started watching a random anime off crunchyroll
...which ended up being hell girl season 2.

Just like the first post of this thread, the one that got necro-replied to?

Momo Kyun Sword. Worst anime of the season. Hideously sexist artwork, but somehow it's hard to get truly offended, since it's so cheesy and over the top. Here's the ending credits:

Is it a new season already, or has Tatsuya been dethroned?

Tatsuya started in spring, this was a summer anime. It is actually worse than Mahouka by all measures, but somehow still more entertaining. Momo Kyun Sword's banal simplicity and shit-ass boob animation works in it's favor against the drawn-out overblown expensively-animated epic that is Mahouka. I think it's the fact that Momo Kyun fully knows it's a load of crap show and never tries to sell itself as anything but that.

There were in fact, far WORSE shows than Mahouka that also started in April. But I couldn't bring myself to watch more than one episode of most of them. Dragonnar Academy was one, and Fuuun Ishin Dai Shogun was another notable one.

Don't for a second think that Mahouka is anything like the "worst" anime running. It's just the one with the most baffling writing. i.e. a really shit writer who clearly thinks he's being clever and creative, whereas his writing is actually worse than fanfiction-level. There are much worse shows, but few shows that bad take themselves as seriously as Mahouka.

It's less "boob animation" and more "boob coloring" that gets me.

This. I was like, Why does what seems to be the main character wear blush on her boobs?

I had finally gotten around to binging on the rest of my Junji Ito collection. Including Gyo, Uzamaki, Tomie, and a few others. I'm sure there's still some errant loose stories I haven't read, but I might get around to them.

The horror value in all of them is deeply interesting. I really wish there was a videogame or something based on a Junji Ito works, where you're just just in a town trying to investigate the utterly bizarre, surreal horrors that are infesting and creeping into a town or into your own life. It'd be kinda like that HP Lovecraft game for the Xbox.
"Gyo, Uzamaki..." Are those other writers? I'm pretty sure I've read all of Junji Ito's stuff and I loved all of it, but I need MORE.
...those are the titles of his stories.
I checked and I'm pretty sure those three aren't on this website (http://openawesome.com/junjiito.html) which I thought was comprehensive (which is why I didn't guess that those were some of his stories). I guess not. :p  I have read every single story on there.

It's those three you mentioned that are missing, and I just finished Gyo last night.
