- Should be action oriented
- Powers of any sort are appreciated (One of the major reasons I like stuff like Bleach or OP is the introduction of new Enemies with even cooler Powers).
- Can be gorey, isnt a requirement tough.
- No giant robots please (For some reason, I dont like this type o' stuff.)
Have you watched Fate/Zero?  If you haven't then you should watch Fate/Zero.  It has good characters, nice action scenes and really stellar animation.
Seconding F/Z. If you haven't watched it, do so.

Im looking for a series I can watch on my RIDICOLOUSLY long breaks on School-Days. Sadly, Berserk releases new Mangas way to slowly, and I just rewatched Elfenlied again. I also went trough the main stuff allready (Bleach, One Piece, Naruto), and a few others.

If you haven't watched Ghost in the Shell SAC, it is a very good one; there isn't really any of the "powers" stuff, except for the various cyborgs who don't really escalate throughout the series, but there is lots of action and is very well written.

Also, Kill la Kill matches all of those things, and is generally extremely well done.  They manage to keep it tense and actiony for every episode, while still developing the characters and plot well.  It does have an excessive level of fanservice, although it tones down as the series progresses.

I'm not sure if KLK "tones down" the fanservice so much as your brain is simply so in undated by it that it stops noticing it. Also the finale comes out tomorrow! It's gonna be awesome! :D

Strike Witches is a very polarizing show. Essentially, it is WWII, except all the fighter planes are young girls carrying guns, and instead of fighting each other they're fighting aliens. It gets a lot of flack for fanservice, a fair bit of which is justified, but the underlying war story's pretty well done.
To be more explicit it "gets a lot of flack" because it massively panders to paedophiles.

That would be why the most often depicted examples are massive breasts. No, wait, that doesn't make any sense at all.

If anything it actually increases as time goes on, to the point where it becomes clear that nipples are not a thing that exist in-universe.

So Umineko is pretty good. As of the middle of game 6, all I can say is that I've never been less pleased to see every single prediction I wanted to happen, happen. All because of a key detail I hadn't foreseen completely changing the meaning, although it did allow several apparently mutually exclusive predictions to coexist.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Considering the anime, manga and stuff that comes out of Japan... yea, they even have a term for both versions of it.

rewatched Elfenlied again
Yucky. How could you watch that more than once? IMHO the story was awful uninteresting.

Ghost in the Shell SAC.
^^ Best.

That was probably more in reference to the fact that a large portion of the cast are underaged girls who spend most of their screentime running around without pants for literally no reason at all. Leaving aside, of course, the tendency in Japanese media to try and dodge that particular bullet with improbable anatomy, which falls neatly in line with the other excuses ("but she's really seven hundred years old", "but they're actually cousins/adopted/whatever so it's okay", &c.).

Put simply: Strike Witches is another decent premise ruined by fanservice. Though that's in reference to the anime, I've never read the manga or the LNs.
