Good anime. Lovely Ending.

Seriously, they go through massive hoops to pull the freaking demon out of him, have a massive inter-dimensional battle lasting three months, bring the battle back to their own dimension, have another huge massive battle whereupon it absorbs pretty much every lesser demon from at least Tokyo, if not Japan, or the northern hemisphere.
And the resolution of the conflict is that he takes the demon back inside of himself - with absolutely no difference in control or power from when they first pulled it out?
...
WTF.
Best of all, the person responsible for the whole 'Oh, let's pull out this insanely powerful demon which is roughly the size of a planet from the so far completely safe human it is residing in, because that won't fuck up the world' just disappears. No accounting for her actions, she just ups and walks out on her family without so much as a 'Well, I fucked up'.

. The demon literally never manifested unless he had been proper killed. And I don't mean stabbed or shot or hit by a car. He is only a danger after what seems to be chronic impalement syndrome and above. At which point he'd just go superpowered evil side until the love interest hugs him because why the hell not. So- generally regarded as 'safe'.
So the only reason they had to pull it out of him was literally because they thought it was going to get stronger and escape later on.
So... their response is to help it escape?
And, the resolution of this whole thing is that it's still in him, and there's still the pretty decent theory that it's gonna get stronger and completely manifest is just kind of handwaved.
So the only two possible inferences are that every single secret society on the planet are fucking idiots, who naturally have refused to take accountability for their stupid actions.
Or that he's still a MASSIVE danger to the entire world, and everyone is just handwaving it.

So yes. Worth watching. But if you're a thinker, prepare yourself for a little bit of angst at the ending there.

You mean the Ending song? Yeah that was the only thing I liked about the show. It was very generic. Very Kyoto Animation.

Eh. The powers were kinda cool, if a bit dry compared to most other big anime.
And the romance was believable for once. Which means something to me.

That anime drove me nuts after the dancing episode, they were trying too hard to combine too many genres into one and that damn ending was terribad to me cause of one thing.

Chihayafuru is so good. I kinda got burned out on anime and stuff but even when I found pretty much nothing else interesting, I still kept up with Chihayafuru. The first three episodes were enough to hook me. Now I'm just patiently hoping for a season 3.

Todays battle was okay I guess. Something about it seemed to lack the same oomph to me that the past few did. I guess its cause Nils isn't really the kind of guy to let his emotions flow so freely, and we already saw all of the Sengoku Astray's tricks in the past. Something about the ending brought a smile to my face though.

Also Nils' weeb has reached new lows.
