Are you sure you're not just getting tired of watching anime? Maybe you just got burnt out on it for a little while. You might find some of them more interesting in a year or two.

Hm? No, I mean what I said. It's perfectly fine to have high standards, but if your standards are too high, you'll probably end up watching nothing at all. Even if the current anime trends don't suit your preferences, either the trend or your preferences might change in a year or two.

Although, I will say that some anime this season is... extremely lackluster, even in comparison to other anime in their respective genres. But I could also say that it'd be more unnatural to not have some bad anime mixed in every season.
