A certain other currently airing anime recently did the whole incest-but-not-quite thing, my post was partly anger towards that. I had been enjoying it until then. (Not that there aren't other reasons it started getting bad.)

Ahh, righto, this is part of the reason I avoid watching current season stuff. I like to wait for complete subs, overall impressions and be able to complete the whole thing in a few days if I feel like it.

Starting to think I should check out LoGH because I have heard good things before but it's so looong. Maaaaan.

I'm the same 110 episodes is above my threshold.

Also, have I mentioned Shinsekai Yori? I think I have. But it's kind of cool. I don't really know where it's going, but I think I like it. Not sure what I could compare it to in order to recommend based on previous likings, so. Try it maybe. Or don't. I'm a Taz, not a cop.

Yeah, I just saw that one in the Fall lineup I linked a few posts back ... looks really cool.

Madoka is one of those shows which only explain what the story is about right near the end. Just ride with it for now, and definitely avoid reading spoilers and reviews. They can't help but spoil some of the twists.

I think episode 1 is the only one that doesn't punch you in the face at the end.

I think the point of Highschool of the dead is to get things as close to porn as they can whilst still being about zombies.

I think HOTD might come in second place to this film.

Yesterday I read Shingeki no Kyojin is going to get an anime and then today I read Dangan Ronpa is going to get an anime.  I've had a Dangan avatar for like two months now so I think that kind of shows my interest (besides reading the LP the entire year).

Also Shingeki no Kyojin is probably my favorite recent manga.  I told you my posts are relevant to anime

I watched all of Gunbuster Josh.  That was something.  Young Wakamoto might have won me over.

The setting is pretty interesting and some scenes were benefited by good music but I can't say I was completely engaged or anything.

Also the fact Aim for the Ace! inspired Gunbuster and to a further extent Neon Genesis Evangelion is hilarious.  Damn tennis romance dramas causing my third impact.

Yeah I literally saw that PV a few minutes before checking Bay12.  MY HYPE IS ON

I predicted Fate/zero was going to be really fucking good before it aired (it was) so I'll place my bets on Shingeki no Kyojin next year.

Just finished watching whole Legend of the Galactic Heroes. 110 episodes of political and space war masterpiece. Goddamn.

Possibly one of the greatest anime I have seen so far. If only it had remastered graphics, I'm sure it would gain much large attention from people watching anime.
