Characters never die in Bleach. That is at least one thing you can say for the Anime Filler; Characters freaking DIE.

Of course invariably the ones that die are the ones that you actually wish would hang around, but thems the breaks.

It's only really been Jiraya though, and Orochimaru if you count him. Cause pain brought everyone he killed back to life so that was most of the back again

Instead no-one dies. Except for the occasional Arrancar, and even then they don't always die.

Bleach probably is even worse then Naruto in terms of people "Dying" but not actually dying.

Remember Momo? Remember the Zanpato that was disintigrated?

Apperantly it gets worse as the series goes on... Though what drives me nuts is how the series kind of ignores a lot of their old plotpoints to annoying degrees. Sure sometimes they reference them, but it is like "Ohh your the incarnation of all evil? Well I still don't like you but frankly I don't care"

I miss Hollow Ichigo, he was the only redeeming aspect of Ichigo's character.

The fact that he can pull ANOTHER Dues Ex out of his butt that is often used as a poor explanation of his power level but doesn't explain how everyone else?

I meant the character himself actually.

Personally i think it's bullshit that Ichigo apparantly still hasn't got all his hollow abilities, this is getting freaking rediculous.

Well I am sure they are just waiting for him to go on ANOTHER impossible power up mission that he does in record time because he is special unless he us suddenly not in which case he is especially special.

Bleach doesn't even bother with Dues ex machina usually.

I mean Grimjow could equal Ichigo in his masked form and yet when Grimjow transforms 'thinking of his friends' allows Ichigo to somehow (Worst moment in anime.) cut through Grimjow's strongest attack...

And even though Naruto is pretty crappy I do like the face that a fair amount of main characters have died lately.

Well Bleach skips the Dues Ex Machina and just goes straight to the effect which really has no name except bad writing (Ill never get over Momo)

Why bother explaining why a character is alive when you can just say they are later?

That's standed Shonen fare; Heroic Willpower. Nothing out of place about that.
