Now I've caught up completely on Berserk and there is no more to read, at least until more comes out.
Definitely my favorite series. And the first movie should be translated soon(ish?) hopefully, so there is that to look forward to.
Sengoku Basara I also wrapped up today, and man, that was the most ridiculously hotblooded show I've ever seen.
It's like if Kamina was born in feudal Japan and had an army.
Awesome.  Now that Fukumoto is all cleared I'll need to finish up with Berserk.  I have Vinland Saga and Basara downloaded too.  So much awesome war.

Speaking of war.  Sengoku Rance is incredibly devious.  I'll need to give some backstory.
Spoiler: some spoilers though (click to show/hide)
I also would like to point out how many commanders I have.  It's so great.  I've had like five die but permanent death doesn't matter when THERE'S A NEVER-ENDING FLOW OF COMMANDERS

EDIT:
It's so ridiculous.

This game is increasingly interesting. Is it multi-generational like Fire Emblem 4 or Record of the Agarest War?

Goodness everyone is soo easily intimidated in Anime even when they arn't being threatened with bodily harm.

Mind you I know why. As Detective Conan demonstrated, Japan has the highest murder rate in the world. So people in Japan are afraid that they will be killed at any moment.

So I'm getting into this habit of getting the OST of anything I find remotely entertaining just to see how the music stands up by itself.

I didn't think Assemble Insert's OST was going to be anything special, but then the sweet ass saxophone solo kicks in and I'm hooked.

As far I as know, no.

One interesting parallel is that Rance VII, which is definitely the most popular and the first to get fully translated in English I think?  If my Fire Emblem knowledge is correct Fire Emblem 7 was also the first game localized into English.

Sevens.

I got Rance up and going. I'm a little bit jarred by the lack of tutorial, but we'll see where this takes me.

I still have no idea what anything does.

A road full of war, laughter and debauchery....Rance's path is chuck full of those three.
I still have no idea what anything does.
Ironically applies to all three as well...

I am becoming increasingly more impressed how unreliable the protagonist's perspective is in Chaos;Head.  I'm on chapter 7, this is getting silly.
Spoiler: Chapter 7 is titled (click to show/hide)

Ok maybe you can answer this

Why are the Japanese so easily intimidated?

I am watching Prince of Tennis and people are wetting their pants because one guy can play tennis really well.

Why don't you think a series entirely about tennis wouldn't involve people dead serious about it?

Here's something just for you.

I am not surprised. Remember I created the Spectrum of importance

Live On (lowest) <---------> Cooking master boy (highest)

It is just that WOW it is easy to frieghten people in anime. I mean really easy! I could eat a burger and people would look like they were scared for their lives. It is actually starting to get annoying. Especially since most of these characters are not intimidating at all.

I swear with the amount of times the characters are terrified the entire world might as well have been boobytrapped with landmines.

Also Prince of Tennis isn't a bad anime... I am not talking about a bad anime. Though the amount of times the characters get afraid of even the most minor of things is starting to bug me to the point where it is detracting from the anime. Just to tell you, right now 6 characters are wetting their pants because one character is mildly angry.

Also Toonyman that anime you posted sounds terrible... I guess I could watch it. I feel like I am in the world of Akagi where no one has emotional fortitude.

If eating a burger is a show of your incredible burger-eating abilities in a place obsessed with burger-eating abilities, this makes perfect sense. You don't need to physically harm someone to worry or demoralize them.

As for the rest, I can't really comment without being familiar with the context. Could be justified, could not be, could be justified if you're the target audience which you're not, etc.
