I can go either way.  I can like the anime if what it's adding (if it's an adaption) actually adds to the series.  Like really good voices, good animation, good music.  So I can actually enjoy the series again.  Anime that fails to add any additional enjoyment shouldn't even exist.

Guts has the same VA as F/sn Lancer which makes me happy.

Started watching the Gunslinger Girl anime on Netflix. It's a surprisingly good adaptation, but there's one bit that's bugging me. In one of the early episodes, there's a scene where the girl fires her gun forward, then immediately swings it around and fires it backwards. The odd thing is that nearly that exact motion was in the second Battle Royale movie (incidentally, the second Battle Royale movie is a rather poor film), and it a few other works that I can't remember the names of. I can't help but feel there's a reference there, but I can't figure out what it might be.

Ahhh, okay, gotcha. Also, I'm really glad you meant "stoop", because my brain wanted to invert itself in horror.

However, the thing with that gif could be fine with it being in Naruto if it is actually a popular martial arts kata, and not just ripped from film. Bruce Lee also founded his own school (and style) of martial arts, which borrows heavily on other martial arts. Just Saiyan.
