Hell on Earth

If you lose a fortress to the HSF, they should build their fortress where you were defeated. And then spread. All areas around where they build their fortressess automatically become evil, and they should spread REALLY quickly.

And you can't eat them, either, sadly. Even though it'd make sieges so much more fun; dwarves lining the walls, drooling and carrying sharp knives and forks, ready for the upcoming meals.

I don't really understand this suggestion. What HSF are you talking about?

The Hideous Snake Frogs. They live in cave rivers and they're really, really mean.

Hey that guy made a typo!  Let's pretend we're dumb and don't get it, adding nothing to the discussion!

HFS impacting the world more after a fort wipe would be cool.

I'd guess that with army arc, that'd be possible. Though making it spread 'really quick' and making the area evil would be more than slightly crippling, it'd also lead to extiniction of every civilization, if I remember how evil areas works, in relatively short times. Probalby merely years or decades.

It would be particularly devastating if all your carefully planned impenetrable fortress design - moats, precarious bridges, fortificatioins (Fireballs!) - were used against you.

If we had HFS fellas corrupting your fortress, some changes would occur; your bedrooms would all likely become torture chambers, and the HFS inhabitants would have to bring in some hired help.

Yeah. Rather than a demon at the top of a dark fortress infested with goblins, a goblin at the top of a demon infested dark fortress.

I was kinda hoping it would take pretty much a decade or so. Maybe 3 decades would work better.
