"Guards, remove that dwarf human from the bird lady. She clearly came here for a good purpose, because wasting my time right now would be unwise. Bird lady, I apologize on behalf of my this misguided dwarf human. You there, as much as I appreciate you defending me, insulting our guests will solve nothing in these trying times. Calm down."

((I believe that Armok actually knows something useful about the gems, but for some reason is withholding his knowledge. Nobody said dwarf, move along...))

The guards look around for a dwarf harassing the bird lady before not finding one and looking slightly befuddled.

Inaluct is dragged off of the bird woman. He stands there glaring at her.

Completely ignoring the brutish human, the old lady looks in discontent at the gems, as if something was wrong whit them.
She then grab the hand of the king, pulls it around in a gesture over the pile of gems while muttering something complex long and unhearable, then she presses his hand down on the gems.
((now lets hope the GM has not misinformed me and that everything else goes according to plan, the GM should write the next piece of this.))

(Well, either now the king has earth powarz to combat the werewolves, or I get to say "I told you so." Win-win situation here.  )

The old man was blathering on continuosly to the now very confused doctor.

Hint: Agitate the kobold like creatures, and the king will have no choice but to go to war, sending troops to help. You'll still get the 500 gold bounty.

yes, turn! if  i remember well, the last thing i said was that i went out hunting...  next time, i'll speak more and won't just make an action that doesn't allow me to stay in city and speak with other players.

Dwarfaholic gazes into his vial of Magic Juice.

"Y'know, if we", he grabbed the vial and drank a mouthful, "if we made the creatures real angry, like,", glug, "incredibly angry, they'd attack the city, right?"

Glug.

"So then the king'd have ta send his troops to kill them, aight?"

Glug.

"And if the troops kill them, then we can,"

Glug.

"Kill the boss- beast."

Glug.

"And get tha money.

Sure, it'd be all assholey,", glug, "But he'd have ta pay us, right?"

"But", The bird now started blathering, "couldn't that possibly get one of us killed?"

The four others stared at him, and he suddenly felt embarassed. "I mean, what if they want us dead?" he tried to save himself.

Dwarfaholic thought for a while, emptying yet another vial.

Finally, he spoke out his thoughts:

"Sorry mate but according to my handbook heroes aren't allowed to take uncecessary actions which can result in the deaths of innocents." Flint points out the page "See number one hundered and fifty two."
Dwarfaholic's drunken stare changed into a slightly unhappy drunken stare.
"Aye and if they get too close to the city they might go for my tomato tree." The old man felt it had been too long since he said something.
Flint rubbed his temples unable to choose which part of the sentence to correct first, and to avoid unecessary argument he decided against protesting the existance of tomato trees. "Well...yes if we want to protect the er tomato trees then we had best try a more stealthy approach. From what I know the beast wanders the forest alone so if we ambush it then we should have no trouble taking it down (he quickly counted the group) uhh 5 on 1."

"Speak for yourself my friend I meant to become just that. If your only in it for the money that is your loss. And because I am the current leader of this group we do not endandger ourselves or townspeople understood?" Flints head was held annoyingly high for the second sentence.

Kashyyk gently took hold off flints jaw and pulled it back down.
"That is just asking for you to get your throat slit, but whatever so long as I get to do something heroic I don't care how that beast dies."
