"Fair enough."
After Dwarfaholic had finished his drink, Kashyyk went to look for the one called 'Flint'. Pleased that his purchase of the -Iron Large Shield- was so timely. After speaking with him, Kashyyk visits the miners again.

I see a flaw in your plan here.

Hah! I will follow you everywhere, like a pungent smell. That is, until I find someone who actually pays me.

Why are there no alchemy supplies in the shop?

Well, since in DF the only things that are 'alchemy supplies' is tallow and lye, I'd say you just haven't looked in the right places. Try the kitchen and wood-sector.

If Banza is going to permit more extensive alchemy than soap-making, then talk things over with him about how you think it should work, and how common ingredients would be, etc, etc.
After it's worked out (if it works out) I'll get a list of prices from him, and I'll try to have a small stock of supplies for you the next turn after the details are finished.

The document never got used. The next day the woman was back demanding 100 gold and for all the earth gems to be sent for.

((hint: Read up on Roman mythology.))

The king contemplates having her shot, but merely calls the bird woman's bluff and sends her away. He then orders the last earth gems to be guarded even more closely.

Inaluct runs to the king's palace and barges in, yelling

"I've heard someone is trying to extort money from you, my liege!! I am a warrior and I have come to yell and break things and threaten whoever wants money from you! I am at your service."

<ooc> I think that the simple sentences and yelling fit in pretty well with threatening people with a pickaxe and not really understanding the situation.<ooc>

Flint leaned against the post upon which he had placed his sign wondering why the two who were discussing helping him would not follow the instructions written on the note pointing to him. While his distirbing new companion simply sat eagerly waiting for something to happen.
"By the way what's your name anyways?" Flint asked without turning his head.
"Aye you seek answers to Questions you do not know." Was the very irratating reply.
"But I do kn...Do ya have to talk like that?"
"Well it annoys you so yes." The man was now beaming
Flint decided that arguing the point further would only cause more irratation so he simply leaned on against the pole his attention now back on the drunk who he had overheard was very descriptivly named 'Dwarfaholic'.

Dwarfaholic gazed at the poster. Under the text about adventuring, there was an arrow. Why was there an arrow? It was pointing...

Ah.

"You are," glug, "'Flintus', are you not?". Glug.

Dwarfaholic extends a greasy hand, wafting the scent of alcohol.

"Name's Dwarfaholic." Glug. "Steadiest hands in the kingdom."

"Pleasure" Although Flint accepted the greeting warmly he showed much heasitation before quickly shaking 'Dwarfaholics' hand and quickly wiping it on his shirt.
"I am Flint the newest rising hero in these lands..and this." He gestured to the old man behind him. "Better you don't know the anwer to that one just be polite and I am sure he will come in handy." "Anyways I assume you wish to know the details?"
Dwarfaholic managed to complete a gesture which resembled either a nod or an attempt to headbutt himself in the chest, Flint decided to go with the former. "Well I went on a scouting jib and found an interesting cult, a group of scaly kobolds which worshipeed some strange bear-like creature. Anyhow I expect that it's hide will fetch a fair price so What do you say? Up for a hunt?"
