I have a brook that almost dries out in the summer,  It enters and leaves the map at almost the same spot so even without extreme summer heat the water levels hover around 4-5.  It drops down to barely a trickle in the summer, and before I got my brewing operation up, I was spammed by Drink cancellation messages from water sources that disappeared.
