Okay, quick show of hands. Who plays it? and if so what group are you in? And finally, if you are in The Fortress, my group, who are you and what combat team are you in?

I...played it in the past. I was part of the Republic of Scarletwood, a government that wanted netruality between zombies and humans, but left it becuase it was so boring. I tried raiding as a zed, but I didn't really enjoy the game dynamic. There is no way to win or lose. Urban Dead may be a game for you, but you have to be very tolerant of deviations from Romeo canon: If you don't like having ultra-coordinated zombie hordes take down entire buildings while moronic humans middle around, or if you are dreadfuly against seeing criminal organizations wage turf war against government forces in what is supposed to be a "Zombie Apoc", or if you dislike the idea of Human Beings allying with Zombie Hordes in order to kill off as many civilians as possible (much less actually worshiping the concept of "Death"), zombies waiting in line in order to be 'revived' and return back to having fun as being Survivors, well...you aren't going to like Urban Dead.

I do however stay in the Urban Dead Wiki Community. That place is the greatest place to be! Drama galore! PVP Action! I highly recommend it!

I've never been a big fan of PvP games, so while I was stoked upon finding Urban Dead, I gave it up after about an hour.  The entire game consists of either random griefing or organized griefing.  I guess it's not really griefing when attacking other players is the entire game mechanic, but that just made it feel boring because there's nothing else to do.

I have to say the UD wiki is a bit juvenile. Stupid people exist there, people who want others to feel horrible and the fact that there is interesting information and genuinely nice people seems offset by the fact that every time I see someone who supposedly has his head on straight I follow it up on the talk page and find him/her to be a huge whiner or someone who attacked and insulted someone for no reason or a personal grudge, which just makes the whole community aspect of it seem like a bunch of monkeys flinging there own poo at each other. That place scares me.

Case in point
http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/User_talk:Dhavid_Grohl#List_of_Individuals_Who_Disagree_With_The_Above_Definitions.2C_and_Continue_to_Wrongly_Defend_Hikari_Kisugi

(by the way, how do you create hyperlinks like this? link mine just ends up like the above address.

I played it a bit, but when I play a game, I want to play it all day or at least for several hours.  If that's truly impossible, I want to at least be able to kill someone in my day's time.  I can't do that in Urban Dead, and when I try, I end up running out of turns and dying.

Me and my friends played it for a while, we had our own little group and everything.  Somehow I think the game would have been 50% more fun if you could send emotes as well as speak.  And the wiki is scary.

I have a zombie wandering around raping things. I think I've gotten every single zombie skill. It's nifty.

EDIT: The especially nifty bit is it only takes 20-35 AP to knock down maximized fortifications, so I'm basically a battering ram. Who rapes things.

I have a maxed out mall tour zombie/Pk'er and a halfway maxed reviver dude, both sitting around inactive somewhere. I might start playing again... but it kind of pisses me off how lazy the developer is. One small update a month if we're lucky?

There are lots of other stuff you could do, with fellow people. You could just read books and discuss world events with your fellow friends. Or you could hold D&D sessions inside a Mall. Or play trivia contests! Or read books! Or find newspapers!

Fun, fun, fun!
