Dwarves stopped dumping?
« on: December 08, 2008, 06:29:29 pm »

Hi.

I have a small 1 square dump for the 100000000000000000000000000 units of stone I've accumulated, However, I've noticed it's stopped being used as a dump when chunks from slaughtered animals appeared in my refuse pile. They make a terrible stink and fill up spaces that could be used by bones, so I'm wondering what gives?

Chunks from slaughtered animals do normally go to a refuse stockpile (or just rot away right in the butchers shop  ::)), so i think it's normal behaviour. You can either put you refuse stockpile (and maybe even the butchery) outside to avoid stinking or put doors (best a two door airlock) to keep the miasma from expanding.

No, dwarves have not stopped humping. I think I had three babies born in the last year.

You can set which refuse goes where in the refuse orders menu.
