How much information was available about the game before the first release?

Not much, except some of what's on the features page and what he said on some thread called 'back to the dwarf game', but I can't seem to find it around here anymore. Also Toad told no one about adventure mode other than the some of playtesters.

Wow, I'm 1809 or so.  And THLawrence registered on the same day as me.  Who knew?

I understand that bit, but I can't seem to find any easy way to find where I rank in the lists. BLAST!

Oh, I found myself, then memorized my join date.  Then, I sorted by member join date and messed around with the URL until I found myself.  Took a bit of tweaking, but its not to hard to get.

The old would list your member # under your profile, sadly the new one doesn't.

Woohoo! I'm member #4272! I can't believe how many people joined since me, I haven't even been here a whole year yet, and I'm only one-thousand people or so after the half-point.
I'd like to see a members vs. time population curve graph.
#3470 here.
And erm, it'd still be a line graph...
y=x2 is considered a line graph...
It's called a parabola, but I'll be damned if it isn't a line graph.
But yes, a Member # graph would be cool.

A parabola isn't a "line" if you want to go with precise geometric definitions. A line is straight, and lines are formed by linear equations.

Strictly speaking, a line has to be straight and extends in both directions infinitely. The "straight" part is the more important one.

True, but if you find a post you made, the link to the posters profile on the right has their user number at the end of the url.

Let me rephrase that. I meant a graph of the forum's population curve, much like the world's J curve.

Wonder what ours would be?

A 'a' 'b' 'c'? Maybe a '&'?
