Goblins and imprisonement
« on: December 07, 2008, 03:19:26 pm »

I now have my first successful fortress running and have captured a number of goblins in my cage traps.  They are now being stored in  my animal stockpile.  I would like to dump them all in a pit, but I don't know how to move the cages or animals inside.  And if I put them in a pit, do I have to feed them?  Also, is there any way to make them go ape-shit crazy and then release them back on the next goblin invasion?  I would love that.

Make the pit a zone, then designate it as a pit.

You don't have to feed them.

And as far as I know, there is no way to make goblins go bat-shit insane(Well, more than they already are.)

Mod your goblins in to be [PET] and [trAINABLE]. I believe those are the tags. Oh! And then you turn them into mindless slave war-goblins. Release them on un-mindfucked goblins. Sell tickets to the slaughter. PROFIT!
