Very first episode, Raditz kills a farmer that shoots at him with a rifle.

I never got why they never collected the Dragon Balls to revive Raditz and Nappa when the main cast became strong enough to essentially make them non-threats. They could've been powerful allies against whatever the villain was at the time, with the proper training in that weird time chamber, of course.

Mostly because the storywriting for dragonball wasn't that great. I think there were no recurring characters except for the main characters.
