Just reminds of a short story I read a while ago. A guy goes to Norway for a shooting compition, and due to something or another (I think it was a alien in the future), he gets sent back a couple of thousand years. There he meets some stone age viking dudes (who think that his 1911 is a hammer, when he uses the butt to smack a nut open). He then uses said 1911 to kill a bunch of mongol invader guys. He becomes known as Thor, the guy who threw a hammer to kill people, while producing thunder.
Therefore:
M1911>hammer.

I just spent a busride with 20 loud germans in it. Then I was worried.



xp-based systems beat skill-based systems (too much grinding!).

Because a modicum of stability and near universal compatibility meant no crashes from routine start-up and shut-down and no finagling with DOSBox.
