My main reason for wanting a limit isn't to balance seduction or issues-based recruitment; it's just that the lack of a limit produces an incentive to mass-recruit/seduce people like in the OP's image, which is really boring. Introducing a limit would make this tactic impossible, and also make recruiting slower if you ever are in a time-sensitive situation for whatever reason.

Implementing a limit would be as simple as setting a max number of dates/interviews per day (such as 1+Liberal Rank+3 if he's the founder), and having the game display a notification (similarly to the current "Police Officer won't talk to you" message when you fail a roll) along the lines of "Liberal Ted doesn't have time for another meeting/date" if you've hit that limit.

I'm just gonna say "no" to a daily recruit/seduction limit.  When I'm seriously looking for new members, I only tend to seduce at most three people in a day (I only seduce for sleepers due to jail-related woes, and most sleepers don't gain skill so I don't care much about stats -- in short, it's easy to get what I need by seduction).  However, the only effective way to train seduction is to seduce dozens of people in one day.  I don't want to have to waste even more of my time trying to raise that skill just because a few people twitch at the thought of someone arranging 40 dates in one day.  Tedium = bad.  I suppose it wouldn't be so bad if prostitution didn't cap at 10 skill.

Recruitment by talking about the issues, as opposed to seduction, shouldn't have a limit either, for a remotely similar reason.  Skill gain is easy and fairly hands-off if you keep talking to the same half dozen people every day without recruiting or asking for donations.  However, I spend an awful lot of time trying to get recruits with ideal stats for whatever task I need.  That means interviewing dozens of, say, hippies in a day to find the one hippie with 10 HRT and 10 INT if I need a writer.

You really don't need the perfect recruits/ultimate grind.  The game is easy enough that you can win without grinding anything but stealth/disguise (god help liberalism when you can't grind those.)

And if you prefer your recruits to die so that more people will love the LCS, thereby swaying the issues to be more Liberal...no you don't.

Maybe I'm just weird, but I like to have no more than two generations of followers (i.e. those directly subordinate to the founder plus one step removed from the founder).  Thus a given liberal's potential (as determined by their base attributes) is extremely important.

I think that getting seduction skill and combing through huge numbers of recruits for one with "perfect" stats are problems in the game, and that making them impractical would actually reduce tedium. If gaining seduction skill through prostitution becomes competitive, then all you have to do is give people the prostitution order and you'll eventually have people with good seduction skill. Additionally, combing through large numbers of potential recruits for ones with perfect stats is the very definition of tedium; it's not something that should be possible or encouraged.

I'm against all caps. I simply despise the skill caps, and if there's a way to remove them I'll probably start playing LCS again. There isn't a really good reason to make a cap on the amount of people you can seduce in one night, all it will do is stretch things out and waste your time in the game and real life if you really want to date that many people. It's like if you could only do one thing per raid - the same things would happen, it would just take ridiculous amounts of time in real life and in the game to make them happen. Pointless grinding and repetition =/= fun.

As long as it's at all possible to comb through recruits for ones with good stats, people are going to do it. You can't fix something being tedious by making it even more tedious and hoping people will just decide not to do it.

I don't bother with more then two generations and the second one is mostly empty.  My roster:
1 uberConverter (my founder typically)
2-4 radio personalities for broadcasts, converted, take up no slots
1 thief
1 fashion designer, stats irrelevant
2-4 hackers, stats unimportant
1 spray painter, stats unimportant
1 protester, (not designated role)
Converted CSS vigilantes, take up no slots
Occasionally a prostitute or teenager as a seducer/dungeon master
Occasionally a lab tech/engineer as the designated button pusher
As many gangsters as it takes to kill the CCS, (maybe 8 at a time max?  I'm also using vigilantes), I human wave liberally but try to have a bit of a bleeding heart, meaning I pick those I think have a good shot at survival
Mucho sleepers, take up one slot (starting judge)

So that's 15-19 people (usually nearer 15) at the end but only 7-11 before I recruit gangsters to take down the CSS.  Just my founders starting cap is enough to support the core of the revolution.  Getting him and another liberal up to revolutionary plus means I'm set until I need gangsters, at which point leadership or another revolutionary means I have enough for all the recruits I need.  I'm not conservative about recruits stats but I never am too hemmed in.

Here's a simple fix. Schedule a date for your... Date...

It lowers the risk of an ambush being set for the lying dog. Depending on how far away. But it doesn't nullify it. You could still have multiple dates per day. It's just risky and your other dates will know about it.

We need a notoriety system about this stuff too. If gossip spreads about that specific person being a lying dog, it's just like a seduction penalty. Eventually it would get so high that people would exclaim that they know about it. Instead of just saying "Jesus..."

That brings another thing to mind. It effectively means that all people who refuse dates are Christians. Didn't we want to eliminate specific religion affiliation? They could just say "No way." or "Get away you freak!" and other such random words from the same pool. The same thing about discussing the issues. Everybody saying the exact same thing gets tedious.

The point was not to jab at any specific branch of Christianity (e.g. Catholics, Baptists, etc).

Yeah, probably something similar to one. Seduction decides the amount of seductees you can juggle. I'm not sure how though.

there's a cap?

Transient is quite taken with Aiko Scardino's unique life philosophy...
But when Aiko Scardino mentions having other lovers, things go downhill fast.
This relationship is over.

I've had one founder manage to seduce four people, and others only one or occasionally two.  It doesn't seem directly correlated to either Charisma or Seduction, and I don't think it's connected to juice.
