I doubt I'd win that.  I'll probably be upgrading the LEGO mod.
On the subject of merchants, how do you get two different fortress mode playable civs to interact with each other?

Short answer: You don't. They can, if set to the same active season and if not at war, trade with YOU at the same time, but they will not really interact with each other as of yet.

Also, you can only really play one race at a time in fortress mode.
Well my main concern was trading so that's good enough.  Thanks.

I think it'd be neat if the other traders traded among themselves!

Then you wouldn't be able to make a profit off of being the middle man.

The Dwarven Bazaar, you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. I like the sound of that.

I find the concept of dwarf sized walrus people kinda wrong... Walruses are huge.

Until there's a way to stop traders from bringing clothes that aren't your size, it's a necessity. :\

Besides, in this setup the only not-small-sized race is Orcs, so technically that height is the norm...

Carp traders are highly unlikely.

I would love to take some of the Orc code and replace them with Elephantmen and Carpmen. Horror of horrors, indeed...

That is not possible.

If it was - or ever becomes so - you know I'd do it in a heartbeat. :P

hmm, if not that, then could they just trade glass? not as good, but still pretty useful.

Currently, despite having glassmaker as an enabled profession, no race has been observed trading glass goods.

hmm... any new weapon ideas? tridents, (tridenteer skill?) usable blowguns, and the like would be neat.

I think tridents would use pike skill. Things like chakrams and atlatls would be cool, though you'd need something to launch the chakrams for them to use them as projectiles.

maybe the tridents could be like dwarf-sized pikes?

a new kind of shield could be a parrying blade, with extra hand protection!

Maybe a dwarf could wield a Zweihänder, (two handed sword) and be unable to hold a shield while doing massive damage!

possibly a Pata?

Personally, I am trying to make a variant on goblins that live in the jungle.

So.. atlatls and the like.. simply so said gobbos can "chuck" javelins.
