You saw the same show I did a week or two ago in San Jose.

It was, indeed, epic. I love TSO.

My right ear got fucked up from it though.

FUCK.  YES.

I saw those guys like... 5? 6? 7? a lot of years ago, and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.  I don't who does their stage lighting or what they pay him but it's not enough.  Oh yeah, the band rocks too.

The best part of the show is that it was me, my dad, and my two cousins, and we were all blasted.  At one point we started chanting "Igor! Igor! I-gor I-gor I-gor..."  Apparently no one in the band was named Igor because the second guitarist turned and yelled, "My name's not Igor!"  We then went to chanting it kinda quiet for a while before we picked up again.

Part 1: Oh yeah. Kamelot had some good stuff too when I saw them a while ago, but TSO was just epic.

Part 2: That is awesome.

Five or siz years ago I was taking a music history and appreciation course. We had to review two concerts as class projects. One was the Trans-Siberian orchestra, then playing in Boston. I had to drive up from Connecticut during a severe snowstorm and nearly died when my car skidded off the road. When I got there (the house of the friend I was staying with for the weekend) I found I had left the tickets at home.

We managed to get replacement tickets. I seem to recall an electric guitar drowning out every other instrument. Overall I thought it was kind of "meh". Of course, the entire weekend was a bit of an embuggerance

I love TSO.
Nothing beats their version of rock opera.
Come to think of it, I can't think of any other band that even does rock opera.

If you've not heard Beethoven's Last Night, go forth and listen.  Epic! EPIC I TELL YOU!

I heard (some of) it once or twice and got tired of it. Never was much of a Christmas person.
