I want to try making new civs to trade with, because Elves and Humans are fairly annoying.

What does one do concerning multiple races with the same active season? Is the one you trade with determined by proximity (settling in their area-of-influence as found in Legends civ maps)? I ask because from what I gather, many mods have been made with a large number of races... same question applies to multiple active-assault civs, such as orcs and not-orcs-with-same-constant-murder-behavior.

A second, more difficult question; can trader messages per civ be modified? If, for example, you wanted a race to say "Greetings from the desert!".

They can show up in the same season just fine.
I can attest to that, having about 7 races arrive every spring.

I don't think you can change the message, though.
