Debate Attacks

With the addition of debate stuns to conservative speech attacks I've decided I want to try debating as my founders primary attack (rather than teaching him to use a gun).

What level of skills/attributes do I need to be effective?

How do I attack with my mouth?

Grab a guitar at the pawn shop.  It attacks using music skill.  Music relies on Heart.  So choose all the Heart boosting options at chargen, juice up (always good advice), and never let a hostage die on your founder's watch (i.e. during interrogation -- I don't think executing hostages during a firefight counts).

Note that Heart decreases with old age, so try to max your music skill before age 50 or so.

I Don't want to use music. I want to use a debate style attack similar to an arch-conservative.

You want your founder to debate?  Then you're SOL.

If you just want someone to debate, then recruit CEOs, radio personalities, news anchors, scientists, and judges.

Unarmed debate attacks are dependent on character type, and none of the five founder types you can start with have it; other characters need to buy guitars and use Music as the basis of their attacks if you want to have them do that. Music should be stunning as well though.

That would be nice. There was some work in that direction, but coding that's way boring compared to working on the game itself. :/

This game should be more mod-friendly.

If you can code, then you can mod the game all you want, since it's open source.

More people cant code than can, and thats why it should be more mod friendly. XD
