The legend of Skullcrusher Mountain and The Abyssal Town:

The plan was about to get underway when Kornash had an idea. Why do that on such a small scale. a single channel of magma could suit their needs, but there was so much more that they could do. A much grander scale project was then put underway. In the deepest depths of the mountain they would dig out a gigantic channel. This channel would be filled with magma, then cooled. New bedrooms, dining halls and offices would be carved out from this new obsidian floor. The fortress would then be moved into the deep. Atelel spoke up, complaining that this was way more work than was necessary, but was quickly outvoted and the work began.

The legend of Skullcrusher Mountain and The Abyssal Town:

It was the summer of the 17th that the inhabitants of Skullcrusher Mountain celebrated their first marriage. Kornash and Atelel were the lucky couple, but they would certainly not be the last ones to tie the knot. Around one year later Cles was born to the newlyweds. She like almost every denizen of Skullcrusher Mountain would never know the light of day.

I just realized that I've never had a cave adapted dwarf.

I should fix this.

Excellent! I'd like woodcutting, bonecrafting and fishing. Once she grows up have her make some bolts and train up crossbow skill. Those underground rivers can be crawling with things.
Either that or some engraving.
Edit: Can I also have a screencap of my dorf's personality?

Cles: Sure, but there will likely be no action for a considerable time, all river denizens have fallen into the chasm. I don't think they repopulate. The magma creatures will likely die off in the obsidian floor creation. I do think there will be a need for some military when we hit the HFS. I've not hit that area yet, luckily. I'll try not to hit it too soon. If I do the legend ends way too early.

Also sorry that I won't be able to do much today, I finally have linux back and have been going through installations and configurations for half the day. I really should make more frequent backups. =)

Not dead, don't blame linux, work stuff came up and I was forced away from my computer entirely.

I am back, and updates will resume on Monday. Apologies all around.

The legend of Skullcrusher Mountain and The Abyssal Town:

Shortly after Cles had become old enough to go off on her own, Atelel had yet another child, this one would be named Inaluct. Meanwhile the digging steadily continued.
